4名越南移工脫逃 收容所警報器恰好維修
他們用工具破壞2樓寢區鐵窗，沿著牆面跳到1樓地面，再翻越4.6米外牆逃走，為何所方事隔約1小時後才發現，據了解當時警示系統故障維修，才沒發出警報聲響，是否有人疏失還要釐清。
宜蘭收容所整併後，發生第一起收容外勞成功脫逃事件，4名越南籍收容人拆下寢室鐵窗後，鑽過百葉窗徒手攀爬翻過6公尺高的圍牆順利逃脫，所方人員事後現場模擬，並且標出逃脫路線。
所方人員：「這樣子裡面跑跑到這裡爬上去，就往煙囪這邊上去，然後從這裡跳下去了。」
4名越南勞工穿越重重障礙，最後順脫逃，外界傳言他們體力優於一般人，是因為他們過去擔任過武警，受過特別的訓練。
收容所隊長孟憲玫：「這個武警的背景，他們都是勞工，(沒有監視器嗎都沒人發現嗎)，我們因為那時候的告警系統，廠商維修的部份...。」
真是屋漏偏逢連夜雨，幾名越獄高手，逃跑的時間點也未免抓得太準了，竟然選在警示器維修期間，清晨4點越獄，所方清晨5點清點人數才發現，這當中有沒有人員疏失，責任還要釐清。（民視新聞黃富溢宜蘭報導）
